Senior Shia Cleric: Qods should be main Muslim concern

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Speaking in the conference of “Qods”  in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, head of the Iranian pilgrims Hojjat-ol-Islam Seyyed Ali Qazi Askar underscored the importance of Qods in the Islamic World and said,” Qods should be the main concern of the Islamic World.” “The august ceremony of Hajj provided this ground for all of us to negotiate about one of the important issues in the Islamic World which is Palestine,” the Islamic scholar mentioned. “Whereupon the victory of Islamic Revolution, the Islamic Republic of Iran expanded its relation with our brothers in Palestine,” the cleric said. He also mentioned that the supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution is also following the same policy of the late Imam Khomeini (RA). “Palestine should stay as the main issue and concern of the Islamic World, “said the Islamic scholar stating that keeping this issue fresh is one of the main duty of Muslims. “We should not show weakness in the realm of resistance,” he concluded. /129
